ABOUT GEMMA
After graduating from Portsmouth University in 2007 I started my first business, which from commencement, allowed me to gain valuable experience in all aspects of a company whilst it grew from a start up operation through to a demonstrated successful operation. Through running this business, it became clear that I enjoyed the financial elements so I began to focus on this path by retraining as a senior bookkeeper and payroll manager. After completing my qualifications with distinctions I launched Florin Bookkeeping Services to provide a full range of accountancy services to businesses of all sizes.
I have continued to obtain higher level taxation qualifications allowing me to offer my clients a more comprehensive service package and I also hold a practice a licence, granted through the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), enabling me to provide bookkeeping, payroll and accountancy services in public practice.
My experience to date, obtained through real life business situations, continues to provide a solid foundation on which to assist my clients. I am able to draw on working knowledge and proven analysis from interpreting financial reports to work with you to find solutions for any issues you are facing, and offer advice for improving business processes and improving profitability.
